The variability of the plot and the development schedule. One morning when I almost shit up.

I was planning to finish Scene 7 tonight. But woke up horrified at the thought that I had no idea about the method of implementing variability in the demo version. The main character is faced with a choice and he needs to make it. Just choose one of two possible answers.

It seemed to me all the time that it was all very simple. But how can this technically be done? And this solution will be used in 4 or 5 more scenes.

In short, Scene 7 won't be finished today. Today we are coding and testing. Fortunately, the location has already been redone, taking into account its last discussion, and an animation of an elevator has been made into which some invisible monster is breaking.

In order not to get out of the schedule again, right after this scene, I will do scene 12, in the same location, there is no need to choose in it and in general it is the final scene of the demo version. This way I will even win 1 day for a legitimate rest.

Fucking cool refer of masks for insiders

I found a fucking cool refer of masks for insiders. As you don't know yet, all insiders in Organic are required to wear masks. And only those who find an occupation or a service for hire that frees them from mandatory participation in regular Hunting for each other get the opportunity to remove the mask and can even afford certain liberties in clothing. But why Enix doesn 't wear a mask right from the moment he appears in the City ... It's not clear yet.

I'm the Terminator! And I'll be back...

Very strange but I still have the strength to fucking with all this.  In exactly 2 months, the demo version of "Morganica" will be released. At the moment, to put it mildly, I do not fit into the schedule and for the last 5 weeks I have been in a state of constant time pressure. In the morning I experienced another panic attack and an unbridled desire to "move towards the Chinese border."  BUT TODAY I WIN! All because of a misunderstanding of the basic principles and fundamental elements of UNITY - Timeline and Signals, Animator and Events, and of course C# at the baseboard level. A month ago, I was offered to take an assistant, an animator or a programmer, to choose from. But I refused.  It is impossible to create a high-quality product if you do not understand the essence of the tools used, the basic principles, you cannot write even elementary scripts yourself. And the concept of a linear timeline, as in the movies, which was well-established in my head, at the l...
